Sarah Tilbor '08 was a formidable force in the crease for Washington and Lee University's women's lacrosse team, earning four letters and starting every game throughout her four-year career. Over 78 games, she led the Generals to a remarkable 63-15 overall record, secured four ODAC titles, and remained undefeated against ODAC opponents. Tilbor set a program-record 6.44 career goals-against average and a .564 career save percentage, finishing her career ranked third in all-time saves with 513. 
    Tilbor's exceptional play earned her numerous accolades. She was named First Team All-ODAC as a sophomore and senior, and Second Team All-ODAC as a first-year and junior. A three-time VaSID All-State selection, Tilbor also garnered First Team All-Region honors as a senior and Second Team honors as a sophomore and junior. 
    Nationally, Tilbor's talents were recognized with First Team All-America honors as a senior from the IWLCA, InsideLacrosse.com, and womenslacrosse.com. She was also named National Goalkeeper of the Year by all three organizations and became the first W&L women's lacrosse player to receive the prestigious C. Markland Kelley National Goalkeeper of the Year award.
