About the Facility
Alston Parker Watt Field is home to the men's and women's soccer programs, as well as the women's lacrosse program. The field, which was designed by Clough, Harbour & Associates, was completed in 2003 at a cost of $1.50 million.
The field features elevated bleacher seating for 1,000 spectators, a state-of-the-art press box and sound system, and a removable netting system at the ends of the soccer field behind the goals. In addition, the facility was upgraded during the summer of 2021 to include lights.
The field surface consists of bermuda natural athletic turf which is underlaid by sand-based drainage and an irrigation pump. The surface is surrounded by vinyl white fencing, which provides a stadium atmosphere. Also completed as part of the project were several adjacent practice fields and a 1000-square foot concessions and restroom facility.
PET POLICY:
There are no pets allowed in the stadium stands or the grass areas surrounding the stands. Pets are permitted in the grass areas behind the fence on the side of the field opposite the stands. We ask that owners please clean up after their pets when walking them around any of the athletic facilities.
