Bring the Noise: NCAA Women's Lacrosse Weekend at Watt Field

LEXINGTON, Va. — The No. 11 Washington and Lee University women's lacrosse team will host the opening weekend of the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship at Alston Parker Watt Field, and Generals fans are encouraged to pack the stands on Sunday, May 10, at 1 p.m. as W&L begins NCAA Tournament play.

The weekend opens with first-round action on Saturday, May 9, as Christopher Newport faces Meredith College at 1 p.m. The winner will advance to Sunday's second-round matchup against the Generals, with a berth in the NCAA Third Round on the line.

Fans without a University ID are encouraged to secure tickets in advance through HomeTown Ticketing. NCAA Tournament ticket prices are $11 for general admission (18 and older), and $6 for students and children (ages 3-17) and seniors (65+).

Special Complimentary Admission Information*

Current W&L students, faculty, and staff will receive complimentary admission to Sunday's W&L matchup with presentation of a valid University ID. Complimentary admission is valid only for the W&L contest on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Special thanks to Alumni Affairs and Career Services for providing commemorative NCAA Tournament T-shirts for the weekend.

Fans, families, and friends are invited to pick up a free tournament T-shirt at the University Store on Friday, May 8, beginning at noon while supplies last.

The University encourages all members of the W&L community attending Sunday's game to wear the shirts in support of the Generals.

*Complimentary admission applies to the W&L ID cardholder (one ticket per valid ID) and alumni only. The University will not cover admission for family members or guests. Guest tickets must be purchased separately through HomeTown Ticketing.
