Women’s Lacrosse Earns IWLCA Academic Honors

NORTHBOUROUGH, Mass. — The Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team was named a 2025-26 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Academic Honor Squad, while 12 Generals earned spots on the IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll.

W&L was one of 357 programs across NCAA Divisions I, II and III and the NAIA to receive the Academic Honor Squad distinction. Teams must post a GPA of 3.20 or higher during the academic year to qualify.

The IWLCA also recognized 1,350 Division III student-athletes from 174 institutions on its Academic Honor Roll. Student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 to be eligible.

On the field, the Generals finished the 2026 season with a 15-5 overall record and went 8-0 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play. W&L captured the program's 26th conference championship and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship.
