DeWitte Garners Third Team All-ODAC Honors

FOREST, Va. - Sophomore Nathan DeWitte of the Washington and Lee University baseball team was honored for his play during his second season as he was named to the All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Third Team, the league announced on Thursday afternoon.

Nathan DeWitte, a native of Alexandria, Virginia, earned his first career All-Conference honor after excelling as a two-way player for the Generals this season. DeWitte ranked second on the team with a .349 batting average and posted a .998 OPS across 27 games. He tallied 29 hits, including five doubles, three triples, and two home runs, while driving in 16 runs. He also slugged .554 and drew 15 walks.


On the mound, DeWitte made eight appearances, including seven starts, totaling 33 innings pitched. He allowed 22 earned runs on 45 hits and struck out 19 batters. He posted back-to-back seven inning appearances, tossing 7.1 innings against Shenandoah and following it with 7.2 innings against Eastern Mennonite just a week later.
