GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Washington and Lee University baseball team was honored by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) as they were named a recipient of the Team Academic Excellence Award.

Washington and Lee is one of 440 collegiate programs from all levels to earn the distinction for their academic achievements. To be eligible for the honor, teams must maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average over the 2024-25 academic year.

The Blue and White saw Campbell Charneco, John Benner and Nick Lagges earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors while 25 student-athletes registered over a 3.5 GPA during the 2024-25 academic year.
