GREENWOOD, Ind. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Tennis Team was announced on Tuesday, and Washington and Lee junior
Annie Jennings garnered her first career citation.
Jennings, a business administration major, has produced a 12-5 singles record this season and a 13-6 ledger in doubles play. A versatile option in singles, Jennings has played in at least one match across all six singles position this season, the only player on the Generals' roster to do so. She went 3-0 at both No. 1 and No. 3 this season, with an addition 2-1 record at No. 5. As a doubles player, her season was highlighted by a 5-0 mark at No. 1.
Off the court, Jennings is a two-time W&L Scholar Athlete and earned ITA Scholar Athlete and ODAC All-Academic Team honors last season, her first season in the Blue and White. Jennings is on the W&L Fancy Dress Committee and Earth Action Leader Committee and also volunteers with Campus Kitchen.
The Generals, who captured their 22nd straight and 34th overall ODAC championship this season, completed their 2024-25 campaign on Sunday in the Round of 16 of the NCAA Championship with an overall record of 18-6.
