FERRUM, Va. – The fourth-ranked Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team rolled past Ferrum 19-0, in ODAC play on Tuesday afternoon at W.B. Adams Stadium.
The Generals (3-1, 2-0 ODAC) set the tone early, scoring seven goals in the first quarter and adding another seven in the second to take a commanding 14-0 halftime lead. W&L's defense held Ferrum (0-1, 0-1 ODAC) to just two total shots, neither of which came in the second half.
The shutout marks the Generals' second of the season, with goalkeepers
Iman Haddad and
Gabbi Bici combining for the clean sheet. Haddad started and played the first 20 minutes, making one save before Bici closed out the game without facing a shot.

W&L's offensive balance was evident as 13 different players recorded a goal.
Reedie Warwick led the attack with four goals and an assist for five points, while
Caroline Foster had a team-high four assists.
Nora Hamilton also posted four points, scoring twice and adding two assists.
The Generals scored the game's first seven goals in just over 12 minutes, with
Emma Marsh netting the opening tally off a feed from
Sophie Edwards at 11:20 in the first quarter. W&L added another 5 scores in the second quarter, highlighted by back-to-back goals from Hamilton at 3:40 and 1:32 to end the first half.
After a quiet third quarter with just one W&L goal, the Generals added four more in the final frame to cap the 19-0 victory.
