No. 9 Women's Lacrosse Upsets No. 2 Gettysburg, 13-8

LEXINGTON, Va. - The No. 9 Washington and Lee University women's lacrosse team outscored No. 2 Gettysburg College 5-1 in the second quarter to propel the Blue and White to a 13-8 upset win on Saturday afternoon.

The Generals (2-3) scored five unanswered goals in the second quarter and six unanswered tallies over the second half to earn a non-conference win over the Bullets (4-1).

  • Caroline Sullivan found Basso at the 4:47 mark and scored the last goal of the day for GC.
