No. 8 Women's Lacrosse Flies Past Cardinals, Bishop Becomes All-Time Points Leader

LEXINGTON, Va. - The eighth-ranked Washington and Lee University women's lacrosse team held Catholic University to just three scores in a 17-3 non-conference win on Friday night.

W&L improved to a 5-3 overall record on the backs of five tallies from sophomore Sophie Edwards and Hanna Bishop's five points to break the all-time career points record for the Blue and White. Catholic fell to 1-5 overall; Ellie Verrill, Caroline Regan and Maggie Traynor each scored once for the visitors.
