SPARKS, Md. -- USA Lacrosse Magazine announced its 2022 Division III Women's Lacrosse All-America teams on Thursday and Washington and Lee garnered three honorees.

Leading the way with a first team nod was sophomore defender
Eugenie Rovegno (Duxbury, Mass. / Duxbury), followed by junior attacker
Allie Schwab (Bryn Mawr, Pa. / Harriton) on the third team and sophomore attacker
Hanna Bishop (Bronxville, N.Y. / Bronxville) was an honorable mention selection. This marks the first All-America citation for each player.

Also the 2022 ODAC Defensive Player of the Year and a First Team All-ODAC performer, Rovegno is fifth in the ODAC this season with a team-high 78 draw controls, while she is tied for fifth in both caused turnovers (26) and ground balls (78). Rovegno has three or more draw controls in 16 games this season, including a streak of 14 to start the season, and she has also added a point on offense with an assist.

Schwab, another First Team All-ODAC pick this season, has 68 points on 35 goals and 33 assists in 19 games this season. Her assist total leads the team and is third in the ODAC, while her 68 points are also a team high and places her in a tie for fifth in the conference. Schwab has tallied at least one point in all but one game this season, with multiple points in 17-of-19 contests.

Bishop claimed her first all-conference citation this season, as she has tallied the fifth-most goals (48) in the ODAC and the seventh-most points (64). Her goal total leads the team, while her 64 points ranks second on the squad. Bishop tied her season high of four goals in the ODAC semifinals, before she set a career high with six scores in the championship game. She has scored at least one goal in all 18 appearances this season, with 15 multi-goal efforts.

The fifth-ranked Generals (17-2) earned the ODAC's automatic bid into the Division III Championship and will host first and second round action this weekend. W&L will play on Sunday at 1:00 pm against the winner of Saturday's Transylvania vs. Washington & Jefferson first round matchup.
