LEXINGTON, Va. — The Washington and Lee women's track and field team competes at the Outdoor ODAC Championship this Friday and Saturday. The league meet will be hosted by the University of Lynchburg.
At the 2021 championship, Lynchburg claimed the team title after scoring 238 points, followed by Roanoke in second with 140 points and W&L in third with 131 points. Then junior
Abbey Pinkerton (Suwanee, Ga. / North Gwinnett) claimed the lone event win for the Blue and White, as she raced to a time of 4:56.69 in the 1500m.

Katelyn Gamble (Houston, Texas / The Kinkaid School) and junior
Susannah Birle (Charlottesville, Va. / Charlottesville) are both seeded in the Top 10, with Gamble second and Birle ninth. Gamble ran a program-record and ODAC-best time time of 11.97 at the W&L Carnival on March 19, while Birle's best time this season of 12.70 also came on March 19.
