LYNCHBURG, Va.  — The Washington and Lee men's track and field team won two events at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic on Saturday hosted by Lynchburg.

Highlights From the Meet

• Junior Joe O'Connor (Henrico, Va./Douglas Freeman) won the pole vault with a mark of 4.60m (15'1.00"). He also finished fourth in the 110m hurdles (15.25) and tied for fourth in the high jump at 1.83m (6'0.00"),
• The Generals took the top spot in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:25.50. The quartet consisted of senior Alexander Caines (Hanover Park, Ill./Lake Park), first-year Zach Moore (Advance, N.C./Forsyth Country Day School) and sophomores James Dixon (Mountain Brook, Ala./The Altamont School) and Max Weaver (Charlottesville, Va./Woodberry Forest School).
• Senior Daniel Kuntz (Minneapolis, Minn./Breck School) took third in the triple jump at 12.86m (42'2.25") and in the high jump at 1.88m (6'2.00").
