Rapier garners her second straight All-ODAC First Team accolade after she started 17 games on the Generals' backline. She was an anchor on a defensive unit that yielded a 0.54 goals-against average and nine shutouts this season. Rapier also added two points on one goal on the offensive end, which came in a 5-0 win over Guilford. Rapier is the first player for the program to be named the Scholar Athlete of the Year since Anne Van Devender '09 following the 2008 season. Earlier today, Rapier was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team for the second straight season.
Hoeh nets her fourth consecutive First Team All-ODAC honor after leading the ODAC with eight assists this season, in addition to seven goals for a total of 22 points. Her 22 points were the second-most on the team and fourth in the conference, and her goals, assists and points totals all marked single-season career highs. Hoeh logged at least one point in nine contests this season, including a run of six straight games from mid-October to early November. Additionally, Hoeh is the first player for the program to earn four first team all-conference citations since Kate Bidwell '02.
Wielechowski earns her first career all-conference selection after she led the team with 11 goals while starting all 18 games. Her 11 goals marked a single-season career high, and she also ranked third in the ODAC in that category. Wielechowski added an assist for a total of 23 points on the season, also third in the conference, and she tallied at least one point in eight outings. Five of Wielechowski's goals went down as game-winning tallies, the most on the team and second-most in the ODAC.
Sullivan appears as an all-conference performer for the second straight season after landing on the second team last season. In 17 games and 14 starts, Sullivan contributed to the team's 0.54 goals-against average for the season, with the defensive unit limiting opposing teams to less than four shots on goal per game. Sullivan also added four points on one goal and two assists on the offensive end, including a three-point performance in a 5-0 win at Ferrum.
Bynum receives her first All-ODAC distinction after she played in all 18 games this season with 16 starts. Bynum totaled six points on the strength of three goals for a single-season career high. She scored twice in the team's season-opening 2-0 win over Southern Virginia, and she added her third goal in a 9-0 win at Sweet Briar.
Grainger is also a first-time All-ODAC honoree, as she finished her sophomore season with 13 points on five goals and three assists. The five goals and 13 points marked new career highs for Grainger. She scored at least one point in seven games this season and went on a run of at least one point in a six-out-of-seven game stretch during the month of October. Grainger was credited with two game-winning goals as well, scoring the first goal in a 2-0 win against St. Mary's (Md.) and the second in a 1-0 victory at Virginia Wesleyan.
