INDIANAPOLIS – The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced its 2019 Division III Men's Soccer Tournament field on Monday afternoon, and the Washington and Lee men's soccer team was selected to host first and second round action this weekend.
 
The Generals will face-off against N.C. Wesleyan in the first round at Watt Field on Saturday at 11:00 am. The other first-round contest that will be played at W&L will be between Oglethorpe and Gettysburg at 1:30 pm.
 
W&L is 15-2-3 overall and received the ODAC's automatic bid into the Division III Championship after claiming a 1-0 victory over Lynchburg in the conference title game. The Blue and White is making its fifth straight trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Battling Bishops are 16-2-2 overall and won the USA South title on Saturday in a shootout against Covenant, after 110 minutes of action yielded a 1-1 draw.
 
Oglethorpe is 14-4 overall and received an at-large bid after falling to Centre, 4-3, in overtime in the Southern Athletic Association Championship game. Gettysburg is 11-7-1 overall and also earned an at-large bid after being eliminated in the Centennial Conference semifinals, 3-0, by No. 4 Franklin & Marshall.
 
The Generals are 1-3-1 all-time against N.C. Wesleyan. The last meeting between the two teams was during the 2003 season with W&L claiming a 2-1 overtime victory.
 
Live stats and live video will be provided for all three games at Watt Field. Admission for adults will be $10, with a $5 charge to students and children.
 
The winners of Saturday's games will advance to the second-round and play on Sunday at W&L at 1:00 pm.
