Box Score LEXINGTON, Va. – The 13th-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team posted a 7-2 triumph over 14th-ranked Johns Hopkins on Saturday afternoon at the Duchossois Tennis Center.
The Generals won at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to take a 2-1 lead into singles action, where they went on to claim five matches to reach the final margin of 7-2.
The Blue and White improves to 17-5 overall with the win, while the Blue Jays fall to 12-5 overall with the loss.
This concludes W&L's regular season. The Generals return to action on May 3 when they participate in the ODAC Tournament quarterfinal match as the top seed. The time and opponent is to be determined.
