Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The 16th-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team posted a 7-2 triumph over 22nd-ranked Skidmore on Sunday afternoon at Mary Washington.
The Blue and White won at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to take a 2-1 lead into singles action, where it went on to claim five of the singles matches to reach the final margin of 7-2.
The Generals improve to 11-2 overall with the win, while the Thoroughbreds fall to 6-4 overall with the loss.
W&L returns to the court next Saturday, when it hosts 10th-ranked Carnegie Mellon for a 1:00 pm contest.
