BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- Senior attacker Amanda Strickler (Lexington, Va./Rockbridge County) notched three goals and two assists to help lead 12th-ranked Washington and Lee to a 17-2 victory over Bridgewater in ODAC women's lacrosse action on Wednesday afternoon in Bridgewater, Va.

The Generals (4-2, 3-0) opened an 11-0 halftime lead and extended to a 13-0 advantage before freshman attacker Abby Morris got the Eagles on the board with an unassisted goal at the 10:30 mark of the second half.

A total of 13 different players cracked the scoring column for W&L, led by Strickler's effort. Junior attacker Avery Lovejoy (Old Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) notched three goals and one assist, while freshman attacker Kelsi Robinson (West Chester, Pa./Westtown) and senior defender Rachel Wallick (Phoenix, Md./Notre Dame Prep) posted two goals and two assists each. Sophomore Sarah Tilbor (West Simsbury, Conn./Simsbury) played the first half in goal, recording one save. Freshman Erin Coltrera (Seattle, Wash./Lakeside) played the final 30 minutes, notching five stops.

Morris was joined in the Bridgewater (1-3, 0-1) scoring column by junior defender Anne Fisher, who also scored unassisted. Sophomore goalie Jennifer Midgette registered 13 saves.

Washington and Lee returns to action on Saturday as it hosts Mary Washington for a 3:00 pm contest.
