W&L Falls to Mary Washington in NCAA Tournament, 10-6

SALISBURY, Md. -- Senior attacker Bridget Geiman scored four goals and assisted on another in leading sixth-ranked Mary Washington past 15th-ranked Washington and Lee, 10-6, in the opening round of the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament on Saturday afternoon in Salisbury, Md.

The Generals crept to within 6-4 with 24:51 remaining as junior midfielder Courtenay Fisher (Baltimore, Md./Garrison Forest) scored unassisted, but W&L could get no closer as MWC outscored it 4-2 the rest of the way.
