Jan Hathorn has announced
Leo Galarza, Assistant Women's Tennis Coach, has resigned his position with the program to pursue the same position at Amherst College.
Galarza began his duties as Assistant Women's Tennis Coach at W&L this past January and helped the program to its 23rd straight and 35th overall ODAC Tournament championship. The team went on to upset No. 7 Emory, 4-3, in the third round of the NCAA Championship to make its first appearance in the national quarterfinals since 2021. The Generals then bowed out in the quarterfinals against No. 4 Wesleyan to finish the season at 22-3 overall, the most wins for the program since 2014-15 (24).
On the individual side for the Generals,
Lauren Long '26 claimed her fourth consecutive ODAC Player of the Year award and fourth straight ITA All-America citation after a run to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III Singles Championship.

Annie Jennings '26 and
Jordan Kach '26 joined Long on the All-ODAC Singles First Team, as those five players claimed each of the Top 5 singles positions.
A search for the next Assistant Women's Tennis Coach will commence following the hiring of the program's next head coach. The search for a new Head Women's Tennis Coach is ongoing.
