6/2/2026 12:00:00 PM

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Five members of the Washington and Lee University baseball team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team on Tuesday afternoon.

W&L's honorees include recent graduate Brody Pasieka, juniors Nathan DeWitte and Cooper Charneco and sophomores Camdyn Teague and Henry Steene. All five student-athletes were recognized for the first time in their career, marking the most selections in program history.

The CSC (formerly CoSIDA) recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Student-athletes are eligible for this award by maintaining a 3.50 grade point average or better while playing in 90% of the program's games or starting 66% of games played. Pitchers must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched in 35 innings to be eligible for the honor as well. This award is nominated and voted upon by members of CSC.

DeWitte was selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on Tuesday, June 23.
