GREENWOOD, Ind. – The 2025-26 College Sports Communicators' (CSC) Division III Men's Basketball Academic All-District Team was announced on Tuesday, and Washington and Lee garnered two awardees.

Senior Colin Ryan and sophomore Connor Amorosi were recognized from Washington and Lee. It marks Ryan's second straight accolade and Amorosi's first.

Ryan, the 2026 ODAC Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, turned in another strong season on the court with averages of 9.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game to make the All-ODAC Third Team. He led the ODAC in both assists per game and total assists (128) this season, while also posting the second-best assist-to-turnover ratio (2.3) in the league. Ryan's rebounding average was good for 12th in the ODAC.

A business administration and economics double-major, Ryan's selection as the ODAC Scholar Athlete of the Year was the first for the program since Nicholas George '18 did so for the 2017-18 season. Ryan has achieved W&L Scholar Athlete status in all seven terms, he has been named to the ODAC All-Academic Team three times and National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court once, among his other academic achievements.

After making the All-ODAC Third Team a season ago, Amorosi was upgraded to a first team player this season after ranking sixth in the ODAC in scoring (16.5). Amorosi shot 45.5 percent (145-319) from the floor and was nearly as efficient from long range at 43.2 percent (32-74). With additional averages of 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game, Amorosi reached 20 points in eight games this season, which included a high of 27 against Kenyon on December 30.

A biochemistry major, Amorosi made the ODAC All-Academic Team following his rookie season and was named a W&L Scholar Athlete twice last year. He also owns the titles of 2024-25 ODAC Rookie of the Year and VaSID College Division Rookie of the Year.

The Generals wrapped up the 2025-26 season with an overall record of 17-9, which marked a 10-win improvement from a season ago. W&L earned the No. 6 seed for the ODAC Tournament behind a 9-7 conference record, before bowing out in the quarterfinal round.
