GREENSBORO, N.C. — Washington and Lee continues to lead the team standings through five sessions of the 2026 ODAC Women's Swimming Championships, totaling 552 points at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. The Generals hold a 150-point advantage over second-place Lynchburg (402), with Randolph-Macon (396) in third.
W&L secured two event victories Friday and stacked multiple podium finishes to strengthen its championship position heading into the final day.
Up Next: The ODAC Championships continue Friday, February 13, with Session 4 preliminaries beginning at 10:00 a.m. Events include the men's 400 IM, 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke and 100 backstroke. Finals competition resumes at 6:00 p.m. with the 200 medley relays, followed by championship finals in the 400 IM, 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke and 100 backstroke for both men and women.

1st – W&L (1:46.66)
Maria Jellig, Morgan Smith, Peighton Kruzel and Amelia Maloof opened the finals session with a conference title, touching first in 1:46.66 to extend the Generals' overall lead.
400 Individual Medley (Event 16)
W&L placed three swimmers in the championship final to collect critical team points in the grueling IM event.
100 Butterfly (Event 18)
The Generals dominated the event with three podium finishes and four swimmers in the championship final, highlighted by Kruzel's title swim.
200 Freestyle (Event 20)
100 Breaststroke (Event 22)
Smith and Fenton delivered back-to-back podium finishes as W&L continued to add depth points across the field.
