LEXINGTON, Va. – Due to the threat of heavy snowfall in the area this upcoming weekend, Washington and Lee University Athletics has announced several adjustments to the upcoming weekend schedule.
Originally, W&L Athletics had seven total events scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 24. As of Wednesday morning, the revised weekend schedule is as follows:
Thursday, January 22
- Wrestling vs. Southern Virginia (postponed to Jan. 24)
Friday, January 23
- Men's and Women's Track & Field at VMI Invitational – Lexington, Va. (meet changed)
- Women's Basketball at Guilford College – Greensboro, N.C. – 6:30 p.m. (moved from Jan. 24)
- Men's Basketball vs. University of Lynchburg – Lexington, Va. – 7:00 p.m. (moved from Jan. 24)
Saturday, January 24
- Men's and Women's Track & Field at VMI Invitational – Lexington, Va. (meet changed)
- Men's & Women's Swimming at VMI – Lexington, Va. – 11:00 a.m. (updated from 1 p.m.)
- Wrestling vs. Southern Virginia – Lexington, Va. – 1:00 p.m. (moved from Jan. 22)
Postponed - Date TBD
- Wrestling vs. Averett University (moved from Jan. 24)
