Women's Swim Completes the First Day of the D3 Shootout

CHICAGO — Members of the No. 25 Washington and Lee University women's swimming team opened competition Friday at the Division III Shootout hosted by the University of Chicago.

In one of the most competitive meets of the regular season, the Generals' women's lineup earned multiple top-ten finishes and strong relay performances against the nationally ranked field.

Through the first date of competition the women registered 195 points.

Washington and Lee returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 8, competing in the Chicago Shoot Out hosted by the University of Chicago. Action begins at 11:30 a.m. CT.
