LEXINGTON, Ky. - Three members of the Washington and Lee University women's volleyball team garnered First Team All-Region honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), the organization announced on Wednesday.

Senior Riley Debiec and juniors Grace Mitchener and Vivi Vasquez were all honored with First Team selections just days after being named to the All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) First Team.

Debiec earned her first career honor from the organization after an impressive senior season with the Blue and White. She has played in all 32 matches this season, ranking second on the team with 333 kills on 888 swings for a .275 hitting percentage. She has also been a threat at the service line and at the net, recording 15 service aces and 49 blocks — the second-most on the team. Debiec became the 14th player in program history to eclipse 1,000 career kills and currently ranks ninth all-time with 1,229 kills.

Mitchener secured her second honor from the AVCA after earning a First Team All-Region citation last season. This year, she has spearheaded the Generals' offense with 374 kills and a .230 hitting percentage, while leading the ODAC with 4.02 kills per set. She leads the Blue and White with 34 service aces and ranks second on the team with 372 digs, adding 30 blocks. Mitchener reached a pair of milestones this season, becoming just the eighth player in program history to surpass 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career. She ranks 14th in program history in digs (1,140) and 15th in kills (1,063).

Vasquez rounds out the All-Region selections for the Blue and White, earning her second-straight citation after being named a First Team honoree last season. She leads the team and the conference with 572 digs — the fifth-most in a single season in program history. She boasts a .973 reception percentage with only 10 errors on 375 attempts. Vasquez leads the ODAC and ranks 26th in Division III this season with 5.33 digs per set. She ranks No. 2 all-time in career digs with 1,635 and holds the single-season digs record, which she set last season with 679.

The Generals kick off the NCAA Tournament tomorrow afternoon in Virginia Beach as they take on No. 16 Berry (Ga.) at 4:30 p.m.
