LEXINGTON, Ky. - Adding to a list of accolades, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has named three Washington and Lee University volleyball players to the 2025 NCAA Division III All-America teams, the organization announced on Wednesday.

Senior Riley Debiec, along with juniors Vivi Vasquez and Grace Mitchener received recognition from the organization. Vasquez highlighted the trio with a Third Team citation while Debiec and Mitchener both earned Honorable Mention honors. This marks the second-most selections in a single season in program history.

Vasquez, a St. John's, Fla., native, picked up her second straight All-America nod after another impressive season with the Blue and White. She led the team and conference with 593 digs this season—the fourth most in a single season in program history—while ranking 19th in Division III in total digs and 24th in digs per set at 5.34. She posted a team-high .968 reception percentage with only 14 errors on 401 attempts. Vasquez ranks No. 2 all-time on the program's career digs list with 1,656 through three seasons with the Blue and White. In addition to her All-America citation, she was named a First Team All-ODAC and First Team All-Region selection.

Mitchener secured her second honor from the AVCA after earning Second Team All-America honors last season. This year, she spearheaded the Generals' offense with 382 kills and a .223 hitting percentage, while leading the ODAC with 3.98 kills per set. She led the Blue and White with 34 service aces and ranked second on the team with 390 digs, adding 31 blocks. Mitchener reached a pair of milestones this season, becoming just the eighth player in program history to surpass 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career. She ranks 13th in program history in digs (1,158) and 15th in kills (1,071). Mitchener also earned First Team All-ODAC and First Team All-Region honors for the second straight season.

Debiec rounded out the national honors for the Blue and White, earning her first All-America citation. She finished the season ranked second on the team with 340 kills on 915 swings for a .270 hitting percentage. She was also a threat at the service line and at the net, recording 17 service aces and 52 blocks—the second most on the team. Debiec became the 14th player in program history to eclipse 1,000 career kills and finished her career ranked ninth all-time with 1,236 kills. She also ranks seventh in program history in sets played with 456, tied with Susan Gaillard '06. Debiec added First Team All-ODAC honors this season, her third straight citation, and earned First Team All-Region honors for the first time in her career.

The Generals concluded their 2025 campaign with a 23–10 overall record and an 8–3 mark in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play. They hoisted their third straight—and league-best 21st overall—ODAC title. They advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season, falling to No. 16 Berry (Ga.) in the regional quarterfinals.
