HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Generals (16-18) plated the game's first runs in the top of the 3rd inning as Mason Satterfield singled to right center before Paul Ramseur drew a walk to put two runners on. Jacob Jackson reached on an error by the RMC left fielder to bring home Satterfield to give the Blue and White a 1-0 lead.
- The next at-bat, Campbell Charneco roped a double into the left center field gap, driving in Jackson to give the Blue and White a two run lead.
- The Yellow Jackets (27-11) strike in the bottom of the 4th inning as Myles Webb reached first on a single through the left side of the infield before back-to-back walks loaded the bases. Webb came around to score on an Aidan Pinto sacrifice fly to cut the Blue and White's lead to one.
- The game remained scoreless until the 7th inning as the Yellow Jackets had two runners on after two straight walks. Webb delivered with a double down the left field line, driving in Jon Quici to tie the game at two. Carter Schmitt plated RMC's third run of the game as he came across to score on a Chaz Harvey sacrifice fly.
- Charneco doubled for the second time in the top of the 9th inning before advancing to third on a Drew Larsen ground out. With two outs, Nick Lagges looked to drive in the tying run but Sam Slevin closed the door, striking out Lagges looking to secure a 3-2 win.
