- In the 4th inning, Gordon drew a lead off walk before moving over to second on a Generals' error. With runners on second and third, Nick Dawson singled to center field to drive in Gordon.
- Brandan Hartman drew a walk to load the bases before Ashton Smith poked a single into right field, driving in Dawson and Bauer to put the Eagles up 4-0.
- Both pitching staffs shut down opposing offenses until the top of the 8th inning where the Generals plated their first run of the game. After Paul Ramseur recorded his third hit of the game with a single to center field, Jacob Jackson and Campbell Charneco both drew walks to load the bases.
