BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Washington and Lee University men's track and field team recorded 41 points through six scored events at the 2023 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. 

W&L's 41 points is five back from host Bridgewater (46 points); Lynchburg is leading the way in team scores with 52 points. 

The Generals' day was highlighted by a win in the 10,000 meter run by Charles Scharf (Elizabethtown, Pa. / Elizabethtown Area) and a program's second fast 200m dash mark by Doug Dracon (Matthews, N.C. / Weddington)

Dracon's time of 21.84 seconds in the preliminary heats qualified him for a land in the finals tomorrow evening. 

The Generals tallied up eight top-8 finishes to contribute to the team score.
