ROANOKE, Va. – The 22nd-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis returned to play in style on Monday with a near perfect sweep over Hollins on the road.
The Generals (13-4, 9-0 ODAC) won by a final score of 6-0, after it was agreed upon that doubles would not be played. Not only did W&L win all six singles matches in straight sets, only one game was dropped across the 12 total sets.

Izzy Koziol (Wilton, Conn. / Wilton) (2) and
Margaret Carlton (Matthews, N.C. / Charlotte Christian) (3), first-years
Isabella Custard (Dallas, Texas / Episcopal) (4) and
Karolina Moss (Scottsdale, Ariz. / Chaparral) (5) and senior
Gracie Caplice (Richmond, Va. / St. Catherine's School) (6) all posted 6-0, 6-0 victories on the day. Junior
Gabi Moss (Scottsdale, Ariz. / Chaparral) defeated Jessica Willebeek-LeMair by a 6-1, 6-0 in the only non-shutout win.
The win begins a week in which the Generals will play their final five matches of the regular season across a span of just six days. They will be back in action on Tuesday in their home finale against Sweet Briar at 12:00 pm.
