LEXINGTON, Va. – The 36th-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team coasted to a 9-0 victory over Randolph College on Wednesday afternoon at the W&L Upper Courts.
The Generals dropped just two points across No. 1 and No. 2 doubles and won by default at No. 3 doubles, as the WildCats did not field a No. 3 doubles team.
In singles action, W&L surrendered just six games across the top five singles matches and received another win by default at No. 6 singles.
The Generals improved to 15-0 all-time against Randolph with the win, which upped W&L's record to 4-4 overall and 2-0 in ODAC play. The WildCats slipped to 0-5 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
W&L is in action again on Sunday when it hosts Wittenberg for a 12:00 pm match.
