LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team improved to 9-4 overall and 8-0 in the ODAC with a 9-0 victory over Ferrum on Tuesday afternoon at the W&L Upper Courts.
The Generals easily claimed all three doubles points, dropping just two games en route to a 3-0 lead. The Blue & White was even more dominant in singles action, surrendering just three games in posting the straight sweep.
Ferrum fell to 3-9 overall (1-6 ODAC) with the setback.
Washington and Lee will now break for finals, before returning to action on April 16 at Emory in Atlanta. The match starts at 1:00 pm.
