SEWANEE, Tenn. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team dropped its second contest in as many days, falling at No. 19 Sewanee by a score of 7-2 on Wednesday afternoon.
The Tigers swept all three doubles points, with the Generals taking two of the six singles matches. Junior Harry Shepherd (New York, N.Y. / St. George's School) earned a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles, while first-year Bobby Neuner (Darien, Conn. / Darien) posted a 7-6 (4), 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles.
Washington and Lee fell to 9-6 with the loss, while Sewanee improved to 18-6 with the win.
The Generals return to action on Thursday when they travel to Emory & Henry for a 4:00 pm contest.
