W&L Men's Tennis Knocks Off Bridgewater, 8-1

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team moved to 33-0 all-time against Bridgewater, posting an 8-1 victory over the Eagles on Tuesday afternoon at the W&L Upper Courts.

The Generals swept the doubles points and took five of the six singles matches, falling only at the No. 1 position.

W&L improved to 6-4 overall and 5-0 in the ODAC with the win.  Bridgewater dropped to 4-6 overall and 2-1 in league play.

The Generals return to action on Thursday when they travel to Roanoke College for a 3:00 pm match.
