FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team dropped its third straight match against Mary Washington, falling to the 13th-ranked Eagles by a score of 7-2 on the road on Saturday.
The Eagles swept the doubles points, while the Generals claimed straight set wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles.
The loss dropped W&L to 4-4 on the season. Mary Washington improved to 6-3.
Washington and Lee will be back on the courts on Tuesday when it hosts Lynchburg for a 3:00 pm contest.
