BALTIMORE, Md. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to 21st-ranked Johns Hopkins on Sunday afternoon in Baltimore.
The Blue Jays swept the doubles points and the Generals simply couldn't recover. W&L notched wins at No. 2 and No. 4 singles, with first-years Alex Fedor (Salem, Ore. / South Salem) and Bobby Neuner (Darien, Conn. / Darien) both taking down their opponents in three sets.
With the loss, the Generals fell to 4-3 overall. Johns Hopkins moved to 3-2 with the win.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Saturday as it travels to Mary Washington for a 2:00 pm match.
