LANDISVILLE, Pa. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team took four of the six singles matches to post a come-from-behind 5-4 victory over Franklin & Marshall on Friday evening at the Hampfield Recreation Center in Landisville, Pa.
The Diplomats took matches at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to carry a 2-1 lead into singles play. However, the Generals posted singles wins at No. 1, No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6 singles to take the victory and improve to 2-1 on the season.
Franklin & Marshall is now 0-1 after the loss.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Saturday when it travels to 19th-ranked Swarthmore for a 1:00 pm match.
