VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- The top-seeded Washington and Lee men's tennis team posted a 5-0 decision over fourth-seeded Virginia Wesleyan in the semifinals of the ODAC Tourament on Saturday at VWU.
The Generals easily took all three doubles matches and then closed out the match with wins by sophomore Harry Shepherd (Ridgewood, N.J. / St. George's School) at No. 1 singles and sophomore Charlie Kittredge (Alexandria, Va. / Field School) at No. 3 singles.
W&L improved to 11-6 with the win. VWU fell to 13-7 with the loss.
Washington and Lee will take on the winner of a match between second-seeded Guilford and third-seeded Hampden-Sydney in the title match on Sunday at 10:30 am.
