Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. – The 15th-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team posted a 6-0 triumph over Guilford in ODAC action on Thursday afternoon at the McMichael Centennial Class Courts.
The Generals cruised through doubles action, winning all three matches, 8-0, to take a 3-0 advantage into singles play. The Blue and White then took victories at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 singles to claim the victory.
With the win, W&L improves to 14-6 overall and a perfect 10-0 in the ODAC. Guilford falls to 1-12 overall and 0-9 in the conference.
The Generals will also travel to Lynchburg this afternoon for a 4:00 pm match.
W&L returns to action at home this weekend when it hosts 18th-ranked Mary Washington at 12:00 pm on Saturday.
