LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team improved to 7-0 in the ODAC with a 9-0 victory over Hampden-Sydney on Saturday at the W&L Lower Courts.
The Generals swept through the doubles competition to assume a 3-0 lead heading into singles action. In singles, W&L took five of the matches in straight sets and claimed a three-set win at No. 1 singles for the 9-0 victory.
W&L is now 7-3 overall. Hampden-Sydney fell to 6-3 overall and 1-1 in league play.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Tuesday when it travels to Shenandoah for a 3:00 pm contest.
