Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The 14th-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis posted a 7-2 triumph over Bates on Sunday afternoon in a neutral site match at Mary Washington.
The Generals won at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to take a 2-1 lead into singles action, where it went on to claim five matches to reach the final margin of 7-2.
The Blue and White improves to 10-3 overall with the win, while the Bobcats fall to 7-3 overall with the loss.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Saturday when it travels to Lynchburg for a 12:00 pm contest.
