Box Score LEXINGTON, Va. – The 12th-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team posted a 7-2 triumph over 13th-ranked Johns Hopkins on Saturday afternoon at the Duchossois Tennis Center.
The Generals won at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to take a 2-1 lead into singles action, where they went on to claim five matches to reach the final margin of 7-2.
The Blue and White improves to 6-0 overall with the win, while the Blue Jays fall to 0-2 overall with the loss.
Washington and Lee returns to action when it competes at the ITA Indoor Nationals hosted by Sewanee on March 3-4.
