GREENSBORO, N.C. – The 16th-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team defeated Guilford, 9-0, in ODAC action on Sunday afternoon at the McMichael Centennial Class Courts.
With the win, the Generals improve to 8-0 overall and 7-0 in the ODAC. With the loss, the Quakers fall to 1-4 overall and 0-1 in the conference. Sophomore Rachel Hicks (Mableton, Ga. / Whitefield academy) had a golden match at No. 6 singles.
W&L returns to the court next Saturday, when it travels to Elon for a 1:00 pm contest.
