LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 38th-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team knocked off No. 29 Swarthmore by a score of 6-3 on Saturday at the Duchossois Tennis Center.
The Generals came away victors in two of the three doubles matches and won at Nos. 1-2 singles and 4-5 singles to take the match.
With the win, W&L improved to 5-1 overall. Swarthmore fell to 0-3 with the loss.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Sunday when it hosts No. 28 Sewanee for a 10:00 am match.
