LEXINGTON, Va. -- The W&L men's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 victory over Lynchburg College on Thursday evening at the Duchossois Tennis Center.
The Generals swept the doubles competition after losing just four games. W&L then took each of the first four singles positions in straight sets before the match was called, leaving No. 5 and No. 6 singles uncontested.
W&L upped its record to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in the ODAC. The Hornets slipped to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Saturday when it hosts Swarthmore for a 9:00 am match.
