LEXINGTON, Va. – Top-seeded Washington and Lee took down eighth-seeded Shenandoah, 5-0, in the ODAC Women's Tennis Tournament Quarterfinals on Saturday at the Upper Tennis Courts.
The Generals cruised through the doubles round, taking all three matches to go into singles with a 3-0 advantage. The Blue and White then took victories at No. 2 and No. 4 singles.
With the win, W&L advances to the ODAC Semifinals to be held on Saturday at Washington and Lee. It will face the winner of the quarterfinal match between fourth-seeded Lynchburg and fifth-seeded Emory & Henry. The time is to be determined.
