LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 25th-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 victory over Hampden-Sydney on Sunday afternoon at the W&L Outdoor Courts.
The Generals dropped just eight total games en route to a sweep of the doubles points. In singles play, W&L easily took all six matches in straight sets to improve to 11-4 overall and 8-0 in ODAC action.
The loss dropped the Tigers to 1-10 overall and 0-5 in the ODAC.
Washington and Lee will now break for finals, before returning to action at Virginia Wesleyan on April 17 at 1:00 pm.
