LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 25th-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team posted a 6-3 win over Guilford on Sunday at the W&L Upper Courts.
Guilford grabbed a 2-1 lead following doubles, but the Generals took five of the six singles matches, all in straight sets, to stop a two-match slide.
The win improved an injury-hampered W&L squad to 10-4 overall and 7-0 in ODAC play. Guilford dropped to 3-7 overall and 3-3 in the ODAC.
Washington and Lee is taking on Hampden-Sydney this afternoon and then will return to action on April 17 at Virginia Wesleyan (1:00 pm).
