BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- The 20th-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team won its fourth straight match, claiming a 6-3 victory over Bridgewater on Wednesday afternoon.
The Generals took the top two doubles matches to carry a 2-1 lead into singles action. W&L then posted wins at Nos. 1, 3, 4 and 5 singles to take the match.
The win improved the Blue & White to 9-2 overall and 6-0 in ODAC play, while the Eagles fell to 1-8 and 0-1 in conference action.
W&L returns to action on Saturday when it travels to 31st-ranked Swarthmore for an 11:00 am match.
